Anna Faris recently opened up about her relationship with ex-husband Chris Pratt.

While speaking with People, the “Mom” star revealed that she and Pratt will always have each other’s backs and “be incredible friends” despite their decision to go their separate ways in August.

“There is still so much laughter in our lives together, and he is so proud of me, still. We watched each other grow, and he still cracks me up all the time. And I think I crack him up – unless he’s a really good actor and great at faking laughter,” she said.

Faris and Pratt were together for eight years and instantly became relationship goals among their fans. This is why the actress understood why a lot of people were saddened when they announced their decision to split. “It’s understandable that people seemed so invested in our happiness together. All I can say about it is, it’s all true, that we truly adore each other, and we love each other, I think it still comes through,” she said.

Meanwhile, Faris will be releasing her memoir, “Unqualified,” towards the end of October. In the book, the actress will be detailing some never before heard stories about her and Pratt, including their sudden decision to tie the knot in Bali, Indonesia.

“At first I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, this is crazy timing,’” Faris initially thought when she realized her book will be released two months after their split. “Now it sort of feels like maybe in a way everything that’s happened helps bring it full circle,” she said.

In other news, Faris has been reportedly spotted out on a date with cinematographer Michael Barrett. According to E! News, the two may have met when they worked together in the upcoming movie, “Overboard.” Eyewitnesses have seen the rumored couple dining at Modo Mio twice in one week.

“They were laughing at the table. She looked very happy and had a smile on her face when she was leaving,” the eyewitness said. On their second date night, another told the publication, “It was definitely a dinner date. It seemed romantic in the way they were looking at one another and how they were laughing at the table.”
