Size-wise, the iPad Air weighs just above one pound and it is 0.30-inch thick. It sports a 5-megapixel web camera at the back with autofocus and face detection features onboard, in addition to a 1.2-megapixel FaceTime camera the front.

This tablet comes packed with dual stereo speakers and dual microphones. The housed sensors include three‐axis gyro, accelerometer and an ambient light sensor. Apart from the 16GB built-in storage space, there’s no microSD card slot to facilitate memory expansion.
