Asus Zen AiO 27 PC Comes With 4K Display, Qi Wireless Charging Base

Asus has announced a new all-in-one PC, called the Zen AiO 27. The new Windows 10 PC is intended for creators and professionals because of its powerful specs. Interestingly, it also comes with a wireless charging base.

The Asus Zen AiO 27 comes with a 27-inch 4K touchscreen display, which Asus calls NanoEdge display. The bezels around the display are slim, but they are not as thin as what users would typically see from high-end monitors. The display is attached to an adjustable stand that will allow users to adjust the height and the tilt to find the most comfortable angle.

Inside, the Zen AiO 27 is powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700T processor and it has 16GB of RAM. For storage, this all-in-on PC is using a combination of a 2TB HDD and a 512GB SSD, according to Windows Central. The PC also has an NVIDIA GeFore GTX 1050 as its dedicated graphics card, which should be enough for gaming as well as heavy photo and video editing.

All of the aforesaid specs are packed inside the Asus Zen AiO 27’s base, which also functions as a Qi wireless charging pad. This means that users will be able to wirelessly charge their compatible smartphones by placing it on top of the base. The built in Qi wireless charger outputs 7.5W, which is supported by most smartphones with wireless charging, like Apple’s most recent iPhone models.

The base also houses a wide variety of ports. The Zen AiO 27 comes with a Thunderbolt 3 port, three USB 3.1 Type-A ports, a single USB 2.0 port and HDMI out and an Ethernet port. It also has an HDMI port, which will allow people to easily use it as an external display, according to The Verge. The Zen AiO 27 also comes with a wireless keyboard and a mouse.

The new Asus all-in-on Windows PC also supports Amazon’s Alexa. This means users will be able to ask Alexa questions and use voice commands to control their smart home devices. The Zen AiO 27 also comes with a 720p infrared camera that supports Windows Hello. This will allow users to log in to the computer using facial recognition. The speakers on the PC are Harman Kardon certified and the Zen AiO 27 comes with Bluetooth 5.

The Asus Zen AiO 27 is available now on the Asus site for $1,999.
