Asus ZenFone Selfie Costs Only $245 With Free Shipping Service For Global Buyers

The Asus ZenFone Selfie is one of the latest smartphones from the Taiwanese company. It was unleashed during the Computex 2015 tech event in June. Gear Best has listed the ZenFone Selfie with a preorder price of $245.

The Asus ZenFone Selfie is a phablet device that comes with a full HD resolution screen of 5.5 inches. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 4. The Snapdragon 615 chipset powers the handset. It features a 64-bit octa-core processor gunning at 1.5 GHz along with Adreno 405 graphics.

The ZenFone Selfie handset is available in two storage editions. The 16 GB storage model comes with 2 GB of RAM while the 32 GB model is fitted with 3 GB of RAM.

On the rear side as well as on the front side, the ZenFone Selfie features 13-megapixel cameras. The rear camera is coupled with laser autofocus and dual-LED flash. It supports full HD recording at 30 fps. The selfie camera that supports 88 degrees wide angle photo shooting is also equipped with features like autofocus and dual-LED flash. It can also shoot full HD resolution videos.

The handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS that is overlaid with ZenUI from Asus. It supports LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and v4.0 Bluetooth connectivity. It is packed with a battery of 3,000 mAh capacity. Outwardly, the handset looks very similar to the Asus ZenFone 2 handset, but the selfie-centric smartphone comes with vibrant color options for the back panel.

Gear Best is currently selling the 3 GB RAM variant of the Asus ZenFone Selfie with a price tag of $245 along with free shipping service for customers across the world. The preorders of the handset started Tuesday and it will end on Nov. 20. The Chinese retailer is selling the handset in color options of blue, white and pink.
