Perhaps that fake wedding did the trick.

Questions of whether The Bachelor star Ben Flajnik found true love may be put to rest if a sighting of controversial contestant Courtney Robertson trying on a wedding dress is any indication.

The 28-year-old model from Arizona was spotted Wednesday wearing a wedding dress in a Mark Zunino Beverly Hills store, People magazine reported. The magazine posted a photo on their website.

The photo shows Robertson wearing a fitted, strapless white gown with a mermaid silhouette.

Haters can complain all they want, but they have to admit: She does look quite nice wearing it. But they can also hope she's only wearing it for a publicity stunt or, quite conceivably, a modeling gig.

Former contestant Nicki Sterling, who made it to the final three before getting the boot, really hoped it didn't mean that Flajnik had proposed marriage to Robertson.

I would hope and pray that is not the case, Sterling told People. There are no words to describe how horrible that would be. I mean, somebody's heart is on the line. And not just somebody's, but it's Ben who I care deeply about.

Flajnik wrote about his most recent date with the final three women -- Courtney, Lindzi, and Nicki -- on the show's People blog.

He wrote about the relief he felt when Robertson admitted she could have made more of an effort to get along with the other contestants, several of whom went out of their way to warn Flajnik about what is perceived as a duplicitous nature on her part.

I have tried this entire journey to be patient and more forgiving, he wrote. Courtney was worth the patience and I was happy to feel like she turned a big corner.
