For the first time in the history of “The Bachelorette,” it will be up to the contestants to choose the lucky lady who will continue on the series. Right now, Season 19 “Bachelor” stars Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe are both in the running – but not for long. On the May 18 premiere episode, the 25 men will vote for which beauty they want to continue on as the “Bachelorette.” However, ABC is introducing yet another twist. Fans won’t find out who the men vote for in episode 1 -- they’ll have to wait until episode 2.

That’s right, the suspense will continue into another episode. But there is good news. Viewers won’t have to wait a week to get the results because the big reveal will come during night two on Tuesday, May 19.

According to the synopsis, host Chris Harrison will announce the results to the anxious women. When the votes have been revealed, the chosen bachelorette will continue to bond with the men during a cocktail party. That’s where the tables will turn. The contestants who voted for the other bachelorette could potentially get sent home.

One bachelor will decide to take matters into his own hands and confess to the bachelorette that he actually voted for the other woman. He’ll admit that he’s willing to try to connect – but will the bachelorette consider this? Meanwhile, another contestant will set aside his nerves and land the first kiss of the season after telling the bachelorette how happy he was to learn she was the chosen one.

Episode 2 of “The Bachelorette” will conclude with the first rose ceremony that will eliminate six men. But before any roses can be handed out, one contestant will share a “surprising decision.”

The two-night premiere of the 2015 season of “The Bachelorette” will kick off Monday, May 18, at 9 p.m. EDT and continue on Tuesday, May 19, at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC. Who do you want to become the next star of “The Bachelorette”? Take the poll below:
