FC Barcelona have reportedly agreed to personal terms with Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski ahead of the 2022 summer market.

Barcelona are preparing to offer Lewandowski a three-year deal that would see the Polish forward earn around $10 million per season, reported Diario AS. International Business Times, however, could not verify it independently.

Xavi Hernandez, Barcelona’s head coach, has already spoken twice to Lewandowksi regarding the transfer, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who has a credible record in the European transfer market.

Blaugrana have made Lewandowski their priority signing as they are looking to rebuild their side ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

While Lewandowski is not in contact with any other club as he is also keen on joining the Camp Nou side. Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are interested in landing the former Borussia Dortmund star, according to Barca Blaugranes.

The 33-year-old Lewandowski has a year left on his current contract with Bayern Munich but the Poland national has made it clear that he does not want to sign an extension.

Barcelona are ready to pay around $63 million for Lewandowski, according to another Diario AS report. It is also understood that Barcelona could offer Memphis Depay as a part of Lewandowski's deal, which might ease the transfer operation.

In 46 competitive matches for the Allianz Arena side this season, Lewandowski netted an incredible 50 goals. He also provided seven assists. Out of the 50 goals, 35 came in Bundesliga as Bayern Munich clinched their 10th straight league title in Germany.

Last season, Lewandowski was once again on fire as he scored 48 goals in 40 matches across all competitions. The 2019-20 season saw Lewandowski’s best run to date. He finished with 55 goals and 10 assists in 47 competitive games for Bayern Munich.
