With Marvel not attending this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the show was wide open for DC to steal with its newest venture into the world of expanded comic book movie universes. Those in attendance in Hall H during the big Warner Bros. panel on Monday were not disappointed by what the media giant brought to the table.

Director Zack Snyder was joined by stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot as well as moderator Aisha Tyler to deliver a sneak peak at “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” However, before they came out, the crowd was shocked to see the entire cast of “Suicide Squad” (except for Jared Leto).

The big event kicked off at 10:30 a.m. PDT, beginning with Warner Bros. upcoming movies “Man from UNCLE” and “Pan” before really getting into the DC Comics Universe. Below are five things we learned from the panel.

Was it a big event?

How good was the yet-to-be released surprise footage of "Suicide Squad"?

What heroes will DC be bringing to the big screen?

What can we expect from "Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice"?

What about Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman?
