Ben Affleck was recently photographed riding a boat with his son Samuel.

On his 6th birthday, Affleck, Jennifer Garner, and their two daughters, Violet, 12, and Seraphina, 9, went to Legoland to celebrate Samuel’s birthday. Photos of the actor sitting on a red boat while Samuel drove were released online by the Daily Mail.

Another photo shows Affleck with his back turned towards the camera. Waiting for them by the dock is Garner. The “13 Going on 30” actress is wearing a black long-sleeved top, jeans, and dark sunglasses.

One day after Samuel’s birthday, Garner was seen running errands in Beverly Hills by herself. She is wearing a black jacket, black top, jeans, and black pumps. She also has a cup of coffee in her hand.

Earlier that day, Affleck and Garner were also photographed talking to each other. The actor was all smiles during their conversation. As of late, it is still unclear how long Affleck will be staying in Los Angeles. He currently resides in New York with his girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus.

Affleck and Garner announced their separation in 2015, but their divorce only moved forward in April 2017. The couple cited irreconcilable differences as the main reason for their split, but it appears that Garner and Affleck actually click as friends and co-parents.

During an interview with Vanity Fair, Garner said that she vowed to stay married to Affleck for the rest of their lives. However, things just didn’t work out. In 2016, she also slammed the rumors suggesting that she and Affleck split because of their kids’ nanny.

“Let me just tell you something. We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes. It’s not great for your kids for a nanny to disappear from their lives. I have had to have conversations about the meaning of scandal,” she said.
