The CIA released files from Osama bin Laden's personal computer Wednesday in an effort to enhance "public understanding of al-Qa'ida." Those files, however, may also have exposed what bin Laden did in his spare time.

“CIA will continue to seek opportunities to share information with the American people consistent with our obligation to protect national security,” said CIA Director Mike Pompeo in a statement.

Among the al-Qa'ida letters and communications on the computer, bin Laden's files also revealed his apparent interest in crocheting and viral YouTube videos – and included more than 100 clips of Tom and Jerry.

Here are 10 of the most surprising and oddest videos found on Bin Laden's computer:

Files retrieved from bin Laden's compound in Pakistan also included various images and documents along with audio and video content. This is the third round of released files from Bin Laden by the CIA, other release dates included May 2015, March 2016 and January 2017.

"CIA's 1 November 2017 release includes additional al-Qa'ida letters, videos, audio files, and communications, as well as routine family correspondence," Pompeo said. "As a result, it builds on the ODNI releases that provided material relevant to understanding the plans and workings of terrorist organizations. The material is posted in the original Arabic and in as close to the original form as possible, modified only so the files cannot be edited. "
