Blacklist
Liz (Megan Boone, pictured) needs some help staying alive in episode 2 of "The Blacklist" Season 3. NBC

Liz Keen (Megan Boone) began the Season 3 premiere of "The Blacklist" determined to clear her name and prove to the world that she was not a Russian spy. Liz ended the episode climbing the gate into the Russian embassy, declaring herself a Russian agent, and requesting asylum from the U.S. adversary. The move was a risky one, but probably Liz's only option if she wanted to stay out of FBI custody. What will she do now? Unfortunately, Liz's problems have only just begun in episode 2, "Marvin Gerard."

According to the synopsis for the new episode, it will be out of the frying pan and into the fire for Liz. While the Russian embassy may have kept her out of Ressler's (Diego Klattenhoff) hands, the Russians are not exactly thrilled to have a former FBI agent in their ranks, let alone a known accomplice of Red (James Spader). Meanwhile, the FBI, led by Ressler, will be waiting outside of the embassy. With Liz still far from safety, Red will enlist the services of a lawyer named Marvin Gerard to get them out of the sticky situation. If the promo for the episode is any indication, they will need all the help they can get.

The teaser for episode 2 reveals that the Russians will, at least at first, offer to help Liz, agreeing to put her on a plane to Moscow. However, Red has some doubts. He believes she will be killed as soon as the plane takes off. Instead, Red will call Ressler to convince him to stop the Russian convoy and save his former partner. From the look of things, it will not go smoothly.
