Clippers' star Blake Griffin had some inspiration for his incredible dunk over Kendrick Perkins last Monday.

Two nights earlier, Savalace Townsend of Arkansas Pine Bluff threw down a remarkably similar dunk albeit for a much smaller audience.

On Saturday night at Grambling State, the 6'1 Townsend hammered a freakish rim rocking dunk over 6'7 Bryant Purvis in a 60-55 victory in Grambling, La.

His drive, which begins at midcourt, and the ensuing throw-down, were so monstrous that it brought the road crowd to its feet.

The YouTube video has 2,500 views, but as more basketball fans hear whispers about the Griffin-esque move that number should climb quickly, especially given that Townsend climbs over a defender who is six inches taller than he is.
