Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani recently attended the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) together in Las Vegas. The “God’s Country” singer thoroughly enjoyed the evening with his girlfriend and even had a funny exchange with the host, Reba McEntire.

Shelton and Stefani had a date night at the 2019 ACM event. The country singer wore a suit jacket and jeans for the event, while his girlfriend looked gorgeous in a shiny, silver Azzaro mini dress.

Shelton’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, also attended the music awards with her new husband, Brendan McLoughlin.

McEntire called out Shelton early on during the event, and the two had a funny exchange. The host called the "Voice" coach her buddy and pointed out that he brought his own microphone for the event.

“You used to need me to help do you this. And God knows Luke [Bryan] did,” Shelton jokingly said, after pulling out a microphone from his pocket.

McEntire didn’t take Shelton up on his offer of help and said that she would manage on her own. The country singer later expressed mock anger toward the host.

An image of Shelton’s exchange with the host during the music awards has been posted on its official Twitter page. “Forget you, Reba,” Shelton jokingly said as people around him laughed at the remark.

The post called the singer McEntire’s “little brother” that she never wanted.

Shelton also brought an extra long glass of beer to the event. He sipped his drink with a straw during the ceremony and while interacting with McEntire. The singer also appears to have taken his Smith Works brand of vodka to the 2019 ACM event.

“Going to my first award show!” Shelton captioned his Instagram post. The country singer posed for the camera with a bottle of his vodka.

Shelton also performed at the 2019 ACM Awards. His performance was posted on the official Twitter page of the event.
