Jerod Brown is speaking out after Bobby Brown released a statement slamming his media interviews. Jerod, a cousin of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, has been very vocal about the 21 year old’s hospitalization – something that the Brown and Houston family does not appear to appreciate.

“I just found out I have no blood relation to any Brown,” Jerod Brown wrote on Facebook Saturday afternoon. His post comes after Bobby Brown’s Friday press release.

“At this time it is requested that the media cease speaking to unauthorized members of the family,” Bobby Brown’s legal counsel, Christopher Brown, said in a statement to Us Weekly on Friday. “The integrity of the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompromised. Various members of the family have provided media interviews, however none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina. None of them have firsthand knowledge of Bobbi Kristina’s treatment and the medical staff at Emory University Hospital has not communicated with them.”

Bobby Brown’s lawyer specifically addressed Jerod Brown, who also goes by Herod Carter and YF Kennedy.

“He has not had any communication with Bobby Brown or the Houston family,” the statement continued. “He must be disregarded. Please do not attend any 'meet and greet' organized by Jerod Brown as he is unable to provide access to Bobbi Kristina or information on her condition. This is a criminal investigation and we do not need this side show.”

While Bobbi Kristina’s father and close relatives have kept quiet about her condition, Jerod has been freely speaking to the media. In his latest sit-down, Jerod revealed that his cousin is still on a ventilator, and that reports of having her removed from life support are false.

“We wouldn’t do that to Krissy,” he told Atlanta's WXIA-TV. “I wouldn’t want someone to do that to me if I was in that situation.”

Despite the accusations by Bobby, Jerod is maintaining that he had the best intentions.

“… HOW ABOUT YOU ALL REACH OUT TO EVERY STATION I EVER DID AN INTERVIEW WITH AND ASK HOW MUCH I GOT FOR ANY INTERVIEW!” Jerod posted Friday. “$000.000 … My reward is seeing Bobbi Kristina walk out of the hospital. Thanks for those who continue to pray for Kristina. I LOVE YOU COUSIN.”

Bobbi Kristina Brown was admitted to the hospital on Jan. 31 after being found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home. She was reportedly placed in a medically-induced coma for brain swelling, and a criminal investigation into her hospitalization is underway.
