Ridge and Quinn on "The Bold and the Beautiful"

She’s been through the shock of a lifetime after an attempt was made on her life, and now, a still very much shaken Quinn will receive some comfort from perhaps the last person she should on the Wednesday, June 14 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

After firing Katie (Heather Tom) from Forrester, Quinn (Rena Sofer) was nearly killed when a bullet just missed her head while she stood on the patio at the Forrester Mansion. Considering their past history, including the most recent drama with the firing and Katie pointing a gun at her on the CBS soap, Quinn was convinced the other woman was responsible. However, while the bullet certainly came from Katie’s home, she was cleared of suspicion, and the news that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is back has made everyone on edge because they believe she is the one who tried to kill Quinn.

Now, as Quinn stays hidden away at the estate while Eric (John McCook) goes to confront the woman he formerly called his wife, she will still be shaken up about what has happened to her, and how everything seems to all link back to her and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and their secret affair. But when Ridge shows up to comfort her and reassure her that things are going to be okay and their secret is still safe, she will express that she feels like her efforts to try and change her life for the better have all failed, and she thinks she’s being punished for going against everything she was told about her future as a child.

“I think that women want to stand out, but they’re mislead from an early age that they’re not allowed to be the star of their own movie,” she says in a preview clip.

Ridge will try to dissuade her from thinking that she’s being punished for trying to be the person she wants to be however, and will remind her that while she’s made mistakes in her life, she has tried to find her way back from them and done other things that show her efforts as well.

However, she may still remain unconvinced, and it could mean the two may grow closer again.

Meanwhile, news of Sheila’s return to town is continuing to spread, and the fact that she’s there is shocking everyone, though no one is entirely sure if she made the attempt on Quinn’s life just yet. However, one person in particular won’t sound all that surprised that Sheila’s back.

While discussing it with Liam (Scott Clifton), Bill (Don Diamont) will remind his son that Sheila had been obsessed with Eric when she married him, and her coming back can only mean one thing.

“I’m just shocked she’s back,” Liam says.

“Why else would she come back, again, given her history here, unless it was to win back the obsession of her life?” Bill replies.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
