Ever since overhearing Thomas threaten Flo about keeping a big secret from Hope at the wedding, Liam has been increasingly suspicious of what could be going on. Now, following the revelation from Flo’s conversation with Wyatt, Liam will start digging even closer to the truth on the Thursday, July 25 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

After learning there was a secret that Flo (Katrina Bowden) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson)n were keeping from Hope (Annika Noelle) on the CBS soap, Liam (Scott Clifton) went to Wyatt (Darin Brooks) to see if he could get some answers for him. Sure enough, Flo made a comment that made it seem as though she had never had a baby before, despite everyone believing she was Phoebe’s birth mother. Now, with that in mind, Liam has found the adoption papers—and will ask Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to recount everything about how she came to get the little girl from Flo.

“After Steffy finds Liam looking at the adoption papers, he asks her to tell him Phoebe’s story,” spoilers state.

Steffy will likely find his new obsession with knowing more about Flo and the life she lived before giving up her daughter strange but will start recounting how her mother, Taylor (Hunter Tylo), was able to arrange the whole thing through a colleague that knew Flo. While neither of them knows it was Reese (Wayne Brady), the same doctor who informed Liam and Hope their daughter Beth was dead, Liam will still likely find something else in the story that niggles at him the wrong way and will continue to dig as a result to see how this all connects.

Of course, what he doesn’t realize is that the mystery he could eventually uncover is that Phoebe is really his daughter—and Beth never died.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
