'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' Episode 246 Spoilers, Preview, Release Date

Boruto and his friends have managed to endure a difficult battle. They have successfully forced Funamushi's soldiers to retreat in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 246. The new episode is titled "A Heavy Loss."

The official preview trailer of Episode 246 is out now. Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, Kawaki and the others witness Funamushi stabbing Kagura. The heroes are angry with the way Funamushi decided to stab their friend.

However, they want Kagura to hang in there while they figure out a way to stop his bleeding. And to make matters worse, they are at a location that doesn't have a good medical facility.

The trailer also shows the shinobi fighters, who have assembled from Kirigakure, continuing their battle against the pirates.

In the last episode, enemy forces led by Funamushi were closing in and Boruto and his comrades were laying down traps.

However, the enemy was able to sense the trap and suddenly a massive battle began.

"The main squad led by Funamushi is getting close to the village. Boruto and the others stand by, intending to use traps to slow down the enemy. However, the enemy sees through their plan and they are suddenly thrust into a full-scale battle," read the official synopsis of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 245, according to Crunchyroll.

"Despite being shaken, Boruto and the others fight back. Working together, they are able to handle the enemy’s overwhelming numbers. Even still, Funamushi burns with the desire for revenge and uses a powerful jutsu to corner them," it continued.

The cast of the anime includes Yuuko Sanpei as Boruto Uzumaki, Noriaki Sugiyama as Sasuke Uchiha, Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha, Ryuuichi Kijima as Mitsuki, Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki, Chiharu Sawashiro as Hiruga, Hidenori Takahashi as Konohamaru Sarutobi, Shoutarou Morikubo as Shikamaru Nara, Kunihiro Kawamoto as Omoi, Nana Mizuki as Hinata Hyuuga, Tetsuya Kakihara as Deepa, Yūichi Nakamura as Koji Kashin, Yūma Uchida as Kawaki, Houko Kuwashima as Delta, Kenta Miyake as Boro, Akio Ohtsuka as Amado, Junta Terashima as Code and Kenjiro Tsuda as Jigen.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 246 is scheduled to release on April 24. The episodes are available on Crunchyroll, Apple TV and Hulu.
