A prominent condom company is leveraging the unprecedented popularity of the 2014 World Cup with a new brand of Brazil-themed, flavored contraceptives.

Karex, the world’s largest condom maker, produced the product for DKT International, a Washington-based nonprofit organization dedicated to HIV/AIDS prevention and family planning. The condoms, which are distributed under the “Prudence” brand, are already a huge hit in Brazil, the Wall Street Journal reports.

The condoms are available in yellow and green, Brazil’s national colors. In addition, they’re flavored to taste like the Caipirinha, a popular Brazilian cocktail made with a sugarcane-based liquor. Daniel Marun, DKT International’s director of Brazil operations, revealed that over 2 million units have been sold since the condoms, which are available exclusively in Brazil, hit shelves in February.

“Major sports or cultural events attract a great number of people and garner much attention, providing a good opportunity to spread the pleasurable and fun safe-sex message,” Marun told the Wall Street Journal.

In fact, the Brazil-themed condoms are so popular that Karex’s sales in Brazil have reportedly increased by 25 percent this year. Each pack is sold for 3.15 reais, the equivalent of $1.39 in the United States.
