  • Brian Austin Green said he and ex Megan Fox "get along great" despite rumors of them being at odds
  • He explained that they are both working hard to "get along and co-parent well" for the sake of their kids
  • This came after he posted a photo of himself kissing girlfriend Sharna Burgess

Brian Austin Green insisted that there is no bad blood between him and ex Megan Fox.

Fans speculated that Green and Fox may be at odds with each other based on their social media exchanges. However, the "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" star denied that there's any rift between them as they co-parent their three children together, Noah Shannon, 8, Bodhi Ransom, 7, and Journey River, 4.

"For people that need or want clarification," he wrote on his Instagram Story Wednesday. "Megan and I get along great. Neither of us are sending petty digs to each other. We both work really hard to get along and co-parent well for our kids. Now stay safe and spread kindness and love. [heart emoji and smiley face]."

Green's clarification on his relationship with the "Transformers" star came a day after he shared a photo on Instagram of him and his girlfriend Sharna Burgess kissing. The snap was taken during their visit to Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom theme park in Orlando, Florida.

"It's been a really long time since I've been with someone I can truly share life with," he wrote with a red heart emoji.

Burgess commented on his post, writing, "There’s no one else I could ever imagine sharing it with. I love you."

Fox, who filed for divorce from Green in November 2020, also responded to his message, commenting, "Grateful for Sharna," along with a purple heart emoji.

Green's post as well as Fox's reply received mixed reactions from fans, with some suggesting that she may be taking a dig at her ex. However, other followers were simply happy that Green has moved on and found new love.

"happy for you, brother," Rutledge Wood wrote.

"Omg… you guys are so darn cute! Get married already and have more babies," another person commented added.

In August last year, Green appeared to troll Fox by sharing snaps of his four children — his three kids with Fox and 19-year-old son Kassius with ex Vanessa Marcil — and captioning them, "Achingly beautiful boys...... My heart is yours."

Just hours prior to his post, Fox shared a selfie with her boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly on Instagram with the caption, "Achingly Beautiful Boy...My heart is yours."

In November 2020, Fox also called out Green for posting a photo of their 4-year-old son to Instagram and claimed he was "feeding a pervasive narrative" that she is "an absent mother."

"Why does Journey have to be in this picture?" she commented on a since-deleted photo of Green and their youngest child wearing Halloween costumes. "It's not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren't in. I had a great Halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media. I know you love your kids. But I don't know why you can't stop using them to posture via social media.

She continued, "You're so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I'm an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year. You have them half of the time. Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human! Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?"
