Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess are going to have a baby boy, and they cannot contain their excitement.

The 48-year-old actor and producer broke the news by sharing a photo that shows him touching his girlfriend's growing baby bump on Instagram on Wednesday.

"We want to thank everyone for the amazingly kind well wishes ❤ ️ we are really excited to be welcoming a baby boy on or around the 4th of July," Green wrote in the caption. "@sharnaburgess, I cannot wait to see you hold your/our baby ❤."

He even added smiling face emojis to the caption, which clearly showed his excitement for the arrival of the latest addition to his family.

Burgess also shared the news on her Instagram page by uploading a black-and-white photo of her hands touching her baby bump.

She wrote, "And suddenly my world would never be the same. Forever greater, forever expanded and deeper. Forever abundant and unconditional." She added, "Baby Boy July 4th (ish) 2022," seemingly pertaining to the due date.

The dancer also shared a short message to her beau, which read, "@brianaustingreen I love our family, I love that it's growing and I love you. How did we get so lucky?"

Moreover, she tagged Kassius, Green's 19-year-old son with Vanessa Marcil, and noted, "We are doing this photo again with you in it so we can hang it up at home. We love you."

Green has three sons — Noah, 9, Bodhi, 8, and Journey, 5 — with Megan Fox.

Green and Burgess announced they were expecting their first child together by sharing maternity photos that were taken in Hawaii earlier this month. In one of the snaps obtained by E! News, the "Beverly Hills, 91210" alum could be seen wrapping his arms around the "Dancing with the Stars" pro and cradling her baby bump.

It no longer came as a surprise to fans, considering that Burgess spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her desire to be a mom in June 2021.

"Kids have always been on the cards for me," Burgess told the outlet. "One hundred percent, they've always been in the cards for me. So we'll see what the universe says will happen. We're just going to leave that open."

Green also told the outlet back then that Burgess has a good relationship with his children.

"She just instinctually sort of knows how to not be a stepparent in that way, but really just bond with them and love them. They feel really safe with her, and it's an amazing connection that they have," he explained.
