BTS' Jimin and V officially graduated from the Global Cyber University and were felicitated with the Presidential Award on Monday.

The two superstars, who debuted as members of BTS in 2013, completed their graduation in August 2020 with bachelor’s degrees in "Entertainment and Media." Earlier this week, the university held the graduation ceremony for the classes of August 2020 and February 2021 at Ilchi Art Hall located in Seoul, South Korea.

Both V and Jimin were felicitated with the honorable award for being influential and global role models. They were presented with a text that reads as follows:

"As a model citizen who has taken the lead in practicing the university’s founding philosophy of nurturing global humanitarian individuals, this person has exerted a positive influence through sensitivity and communication, going beyond K-pop, and has conveyed the value of symbiosis, a value that the global world needs. This award is given in the hopes that this individual will contribute even more greatly to the world and the human society."

According to Soompi, the global pop stars were unable to attend the award ceremony, and therefore, their adviser Professor Cheon Beom Joo accepted the felicitation on their behalf.

Despite their activities and busy schedules, the members of the world-renowned band have made time to prioritize and pursue their education. BTS’ golden maknae, Jungkook, is currently majoring in "Broadcasting and Entertainment" at the same university. RM, Suga and J-Hope on the other hand are pursuing their MBA degrees at Hanyang Cyber University's graduate school.

Meanwhile, both Jimin and V have also enrolled into Hanyang Cyber University to pursue an MBA degree in "Advertising and Media" in September 2020.
