Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall has launched a new Instagram account in an effort to bring together avid readers. She has started a new book club as a part of her beloved cause, books, and literacy.

Prince Charles’ wife’s book club is known as The Reading Room and the account is named “duchessofcornwallsreadingroom.” Launched on Thursday, Dec. 31, the account has garnered more than 25,000 followers so far. It promises to open the first season on Friday, Jan. 15.

The Reading Room already has seven posts and provides its followers with a platform “to discover new books and meet extraordinary people who create them.”

The Duchess, who is known to be a book lover, has already posted her first recommendation ahead of the launch of the first season later this month.

The first recommended title is 2019’s “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse” by Charlie Mackesy. The bestseller revolves around the friendship between the four protagonists of the title. It is the winner of Waterstones Book of the Year and Barnes & Noble Book of the Year.

“Welcome to HRH The Duchess of Cornwall’s Reading Room! _ We’re excited for you to join us when the first season launches later in January 2021. Ahead of that, HRH is sharing this special book and her conversation with @charliemackesy to kick off the New Year,” reads the caption on the HRH’s recommendation post.

The queen-in-waiting reviews it as a "warm, funny, profoundly moving and beautifully illustrated, this charming book leaves you feeling better about the world.”

The post was followed up by a chat session between the royal and Mackesy. Duchess will share more recommendations as the winter season opens. The titles will be added to the book club seasonally.

The followers of the book club are impressed with the initiative and expressed it in the comments section.

“Wonderful! I’ve just set myself a goal to read more in 2021 so this is perfect,” wrote one user.

“What a lovely initiative! I love reading a good book,” said another one.

“Wonderful idea to start a reading club. Thank you for this initiative. As an author myself I'm delighted to see this new encouragement to many to fill their lives with the joy of reading,” wrote the third one.

This is not the first time the 72-year-old royal has shared her favorite reads with her followers. In April, the Duchess shared a royal reading list encouraging reading habit amid the coronavirus pandemic, according to PEOPLE.

Charles Dickens’ classic novel “A Tale of Two Cities” and “Cazalet Chronicles” by Elizabeth Jane Howard were among several titles shared by the Camilla.
