The trilogy fight between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin is arguably the biggest boxing match of 2022. The rivals are both expected to earn eight-figure paydays for their bout in Las Vegas Saturday.

How much money will the boxers make? Alvarez has a guaranteed purse of $10 million, according to reports, while Golovkin is said to be guaranteed at least $8 million. Both fighters will make much more money after the bout from a share of the pay-per-view revenue.

DAZN PPV will broadcast Canelo vs. GGG 3. Subscribers to DAZN can buy the PPV for $64.99. The fight will cost new subscribers $84.98.

In February, ESPN reported that Alvarez was about to sign a two-fight deal with DAZN worth at least $85 million. Alvarez was defeated by Dmitry Bivol on May 7 in the first bout of the deal.

Alvarez and Golovkin received guaranteed purses of $5 million and $4 million, respectively, for their rematch on Sept. 15, 2018. The fight generated 1.1 million PPV buys. When the boxers met a year earlier, their fight drew 1.3 million buys.

Boardroom estimates that Alvarez made $50 million for the first fight and at least $40 million for the second bout. Golovkin's estimated paydays were between $20 and $30 million after his share of the PPV revenue.

In June 2018, Forbes estimated Alvarez made $44.5 million in the previous year.

The third fight between Alvarez and Golovkin doesn't have the same buzz as the first two fights. Alvarez is coming off an upset loss against Bivol. Golovkin is 40 years old and thought to be past his prime.

Alvarez vs. GGG I finished in a controversial split draw. Alvarez handed Golovkin the first loss of his career in their second fight, defeating the knockout artist by decision.

Prior to his most recent bout, Alvarez had only been defeated by Floyd Mayweather.
