Cara Delevingne has reportedly broken up with Ashley Benson after two years of dating.

According to People, the 27-year-old model-turned-actress decided to end the relationship after dealing with a lot of ups and downs in the past two years. A source told the publication that the former Victoria’s Secret Angel has been spending her quarantine time with her friends instead of Benson.

The insider further stated that the couple called it quits in April and since then, the “Suicide Squad” star has been spending time with Margaret Qualley and her sister Rainey, as well as Kaia Gerber.

“Cara and Ashley always had their ups and downs before but it is over now. Their relationship just ran its course,” the source said.

Delevingne, 27, only confirmed her relationship with the “Pretty Little Liars” star, 30, last year when she posted a steamy clip of them sharing a passionate kiss. The model later shared with E! News that she decided to go public with their relationship for two reasons.

“I do not know because it is Pride, it has been 50 years since Stonewall happened and I do not know. It has been just about our one year anniversary so, why not?" Delevingne said at the time.

She then thanked Benson for showing what real love is and for accepting her for who she really is. While speaking at the TrevorLIVE Gala, Delevingne also shared that Benson supported her when the world was standing against her.

“I also have another very special woman in this room to thank and you know who you are. She's one of the people who help me love myself when I needed it most and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it. I love you, Sprinkles,” Delevingne said back then.

On the other hand, Benson showed her love for the model by having Delevingne’s initials, CD, tattooed on her body. Things got more intense when the couple kissed each other while watching the 2019 US Open Women’s Singles Final.

The news of their breakup first came to light in December 2019 when the “Paper Towns” actress tweeted that she and Ashley have broken up. Delevingne deleted the tweet after Benson confirmed on Instagram that they were still in a relationship.

The couple was seen attending many events after the controversial incident, making their fans believe that they have not broken up.
