Cardi B will make her big screen debut alongside Jennifer Lopez in the new movie “Hustlers,” which is slated to start filming on March 22 in New York City.

The movie is will feature Cardi B and Lopez as strippers that are seeking revenge against their male Wall Street clients, which is based on the 2015 New York Magazine article “The Hustlers At Scores,” according to Deadline.

The film will be directed by Lorene Scafaria and produced by STXfilms with a star-studded cast lineup that also includes; Keke Palmer, Julia Stiles, Constance Wu, and Lili Reinhart.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with this dynamic group of women,” Scafaria told Deadline. “We’re grateful to have assembled such a powerhouse cast and can’t wait to start filming at the end of the week.”

This is not the first time that Cardi B and Lopez have partnered up together as the two performers collaborated on the song “Dinero.” Cardi B is also no stranger to acting as she has appeared on “Love and Hip Hop New York” and “Being Mary Jane.”

Cardi B may fit into her role as a stripper with ease as the Grammy award-winning rapper previously worked as an exotic dancer, much to the dismay of her mother, People reported.

Cardi B told the news outlet, “When my mom found out I was a dancer, she was pretty upset. Me knowing that she used to hate it, it didn’t allow me to get comfortable with what I was doing.”
