It won’t be long before MTV’s “The Challenge” will be back for a 33rd season. “War of the Worlds” will premiere on Feb. 6 for what’s being called the “grittiest, most hardcore season ever.”

Some of the most decorated competitors in “Challenge” history will play for their share of the $1 million prize. There will also be plenty of new faces.

The cast will include rookies from reality-TV shows that don’t air on MTV, including “The Bachelor,” “Big Brother,” “Love Island,” “Survivor” and “American Ninja Warrior.” Contestants from MTV’s “Geordie Shore,” “Ex on the Beach” and “Floribama Shore” will also be part of the “War of the Worlds” cast.

Ashley Mitchell ended “Final Reckoning” by taking the $1 million grand prize for herself in the finale of the show’s 32nd season. Ashley and her partner from last season, Hunter Barfield, will return for “War of the Worlds,” as well as 11 other members of the “Final Reckoning” cast.
