Week 17 is relatively simple for the Kansas City Chiefs (11-4): Beat the Oakland Raiders (4-11) in Arrowhead Stadium, and the Chiefs will be the AFC’s top seed. Even after losing two straight games, Kansas City still has that straightforward a path to securing homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.

OddsShark gives the Chiefs a 14-point edge at home over the Raiders. Kansas City is coming off a shootout loss in Seattle, while Oakland soundly beat Denver in what might be its last game in Oakland last week.

Even with the Chiefs’ recent defensive struggles and the Raiders’ improved play over the past few weeks, oddsmakers expect a comfortable Kansas City victory. The Chiefs have only lost one home game this season, a one-point loss to the Chargers in December. The Raiders have not won in Arrowhead since 2012, the year before the Chiefs hired head coach Andy Reid.

The Chiefs will be without wide receiver Sammy Watkins, while starters Eric Berry, Kendall Fuller and Spencer Ware are questionable. The Raiders could be without tight end Jared Cook, who had seven catches for 100 yards and a touchdown in the last Chiefs-Raiders game, at the beginning of December.

The Chiefs won that game in Oakland, 40-33.
