Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao arrived in Switzerland Tuesday for an official visit which also includes participation at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.

At the WEF in Davos, Wen will give a speech that will elaborate on the measures China has taken to deal with the global financial crisis.

Switzerland is the first stop on his tour. He will later go to Germany, the European Union headquarters, Spain and Britain.

It is said that Wen's tour is a trip of confidence, which intends to set out China's determination to stick to the policy of reform and opening up, boosting economic development, deepening China-EU cooperation and joining hands with the international community to combat the financial crisis.
