Belarusian striker Chingiz Allazov had some fighting words for his opponent Superbon Singha Mawynn ahead of their main event matchup at ONE Fight Night 6 this coming Friday, January 13th (Saturday, January 14 in the United States) at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

In the promotion's first offering for 2023, Allazov will challenge Superbon for the ONE featherweight kickboxing championship.

While Allazov had a bit of praise for the reigning titleholder, he pointed out some of his advantages over Superbon.

"I'm one of the biggest problems for [Superbon]. He knows this," Allazov said. "He has good timing, he has a good universal style. I have kicks and power over him. He's a very good fighter but maybe he makes a little mistake here and it's a big problem in his fight with me."

Allazov, however, questioned the Thai striker's willingness to stand and bang.

"Before, Superbon said to Petrosyan that Petrosyan is not a fighter–that he was a player. I say the same now. For me, Superbon is not a fighter. He's a player, you know?" he said in a recent interview.

"He doesn't like punching. He doesn't like real fights, you know? He has this clever game plan. He has kicks, kicks, kicks, and after that, maybe he would like the fight," Allazov continued. "Maybe you should talk to him. Superbon doesn't fight. He doesn't like a boxing fight. He doesn't like a power fight."

A two-time K-1 world champion, Allazov earned his way to a title shot following his impressive performance in the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix.

"Chinga" defeated top-caliber talents such as Samy Sana, 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut and Sittichai Sitsongpeenong to win the tournament and capture the silver-plated strap.

With the win over Sittichai taking place all the way back in March 2022, Allazov cannot wait to get back into the Circle.

"After Sitthichai, we started preparing. We start training. Maybe like eight, maybe more than eight months, we waited for this day," he stated.

Now on the brink of another prestigious world championship, Allazov is looking forward to collecting another intricately-crafted hardware.

"Now I am more focused on this fight. This is one of the best fighters in the world. People waited for this, and I waited for this. My team waited for this. My coach waited for this. I like this day. Mentally, I'm ready for this fight," he stressed.

ONE Fight Night 6 will also feature the ONE flyweight kickboxing championship showdown between Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Daniel Puertas, as well as the ONE flyweight submission grappling title tilt between Mikey Musumeci and Gantumur Bayanduuren.

Also on the card, Stamp Fairtex meets Anissa Meksen in a hybrid mixed martial arts-Muay Thai clash.

Meanwhile, former two-division ONE champion Aung La N Sang squares off with Gilberto Galvao in a catchweight bout.
