Chris Pratt is a busy man. His blockbuster action film “Guardians of the Galaxy” just finished 2014 as the highest grossing film of the year and 2015 is set to be just as exciting. The the actor has the final season of NBC’s “Parks and Recreation,” in which he plays Andy, and the highly anticipated “Jurassic World” lined up. In fact, Pratt is so busy he may not be able to make it to see his wife, “Mom” actress Anna Faris, host the 2015 People’s Choice Awards tonight, according to reports.

Faris is co-hosting the 41st People’s Choice Awards with her “Mom” co-star Allison Janney. Pratt will likely not be in attendance, however he does have a good reason.

“Our sweet son, on a more serious note,” Faris told Entertainment Tonight, “is having eye surgery so he may be at home with him, but I'd love to see him.” The surgery is the result of complications stemming from the child’s premature birth in August 2012.

But the actress is not upset. In fact, she's looking forward to spending the time with Janney.

“I want my husband to come with me, but I also want to walk the red carpet with Alison,” Faris told Entertainment Tonight.

Pratt may be absent at the People’s Choice Awards, but fans can see the actor elsewhere soon. “Parks and Recreation” returns to NBC Jan. 13 for Season 7 and “Guardians of the Galaxy” is available on Blu-ray, DVD and VOD.
