“It’s A Wonderful Lifetime,” continues with the premiere of the latest new holiday film, “The Christmas Aunt.” Premiering Sunday night, the movie stars Keshia Knight Pulliam and Jarod Joseph.

Knight Pulliam, who is still best known from her days a Rudy Huxtable on “The Cosby Show,” and Miranda Payne in “House of Payne,” has been making a name for herself on Lifetime in recent years. After a supporting role in the 2018 film “Jingle Belle,” she went on to star as Kara in 2019’s “Radio Christmas,” and take a supporting role again in 2020’s “Tempted By Danger.”

Joseph, meanwhile, might be best known for his role as Nathan Miller in “The 100,” but he isn’t a stranger to Lifetime fans either. He previously starred in the 2018 movie “The Christmas Pact,” as Ben.

So what will happen when these two Lifetime stars get together for their first joint Christmas movie? According to a synopsis, an old friendship could spark new romance, as an attempt to bring the holiday spirit back takes hold.

“When Rebecca Miller (Knight Pulliam) returns home to Tennessee two weeks before Christmas to take care of her niece and nephew while their parents are away, the last thing she expected is to reconnect with her childhood best friend, Drew (Joseph). As she attempts to revive the kids’ Christmas spirit and redeem their faith in Santa, she rediscovers her favorite childhood activity: 12 Days of Christmas—something she always did with Drew.”

Of course, as she works on getting her niece and nephew back into the holiday spirit, something else also grows—her relationship with Drew—and it starts to take shape in a way she never expected.

“As the kids’ faith in the holiday grows, Rebecca and Drew’s friendship returns, and she starts looking at Drew in a whole new light,” the synopsis reads.

“The Christmas Aunt” premiere Sunday, Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
