Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown To Christmas” event continues with the premiere of the highly-anticipated “Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing,” starring Rukiya Bernard and Antonio Cayonne, as well as several other familiar faces.

Bernard and Cayonne will be reprising roles they held in prior “Christmas in Evergreen” films, taking the star turns this time around. While fans certainly recognize both from the prior films in the series, they are also known for other work on the network as well.

On Hallmark Channel, Bernard has also featured in the films “Hearts of Winter,” “One Winter Proposal,” “One Winter Weekend.” She also held a role in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ film “Debbie Macomber’s Dashing Through The Snow.”

As for Cayonne, he has featured in “Fashionably Yours,” “Matching Hearts,” “A Taste of Summer,” “Jingle Around the Clock,” “It’s Christmas, Eve,” “A Dash of Love,” and “Appetite for Love.” He also featured in the “Darrow & Darrow” films on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.

The two are joined by other familiar faces from previous trips to Evergreen, including Holly Robinson Peete, Barbara Niven, Colin Lawrence and Ashley Williams.

So what can fans expect from their fourth visit to Evergreen? A Christmas wedding is in store, as well as a reminder of just how much the residents of the town are affected by the magic of the holiday season.

“Wedding preparations are underway for beloved mayor Michelle (Peete) and her fiancé Thomas (Lawrence),” a synopsis reads. “With Thomas out of town for work and only able to plan long-distance, Michelle must juggle her priorities and decides to hire her friend, and sister-in-law-to-be, Hannah (Bernard) to take over responsibilities on Evergreen’s soon to launch Christmas Museum.”

Adding to the stress Michelle faces is an unexpected visit from her sister, which brings Hannah to willingly step in—even though it isn’t easy.

“One of Evergreen’s most dependable residents, known for helping out anyone who asks, Hannah is thrilled when she’s given the opportunity to take over the museum and carve out a project of her own,” the synopsis continues. “The project isn’t without its challenges and when things don’t quite turn out as planned, the town of Evergreen shows there is more than one way to be there for each other at Christmas.”

“Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing” premieres Saturday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
