Owners of the Chrysler Building have contracted with CBRE Group to put the property up for sale. The iconic Chrysler Building in New York is up for sale as owners of the property have hired CBRE Group to begin marketing the 90-year-old skyscraper, Reuters reported.

The majority ownership of the building falls with Abu Dhabi Investment Council, which acquired it in 2008 for a reported $800 million. Tishman Speyer Properties owns the remaining stake in the property.

The Chrysler Building has been a staple of the Manhattan skyline since 1930. It was the world’s tallest building until the Empire State Building was built 11 months later.

Estimates on the value of the property vary , according to The Wall Street Journal.
