CNN Twitter Hacked: Syrian Electronic Army Posts Messages To News Network's Account
CNN's Twitter account was apparently hacked on Thursday night by the notorious Syrian Electronic Army, according to The Wire.
The group of hackers -- that supports the pro-Syrian regime -- sent out a Tweet through the news network's account that said: “Syrian Electronic Army was here … stop lying … all your reports are fake!”
That post was accompanied by several other Tweets that have all since been deleted from the account. The Syrian Electronic Army has targeted other new organizations in the past, including the Associated Press.
