Costco (COST) has notified customers about a recall from Kraft Heinz (KHC) about its Kool-Aid drink that may potentially be contaminated with glass or metal fragments.

The recall affects its Kool-Aid Tropical Punch Mix that was sold in 82.5-ounce containers with an item code of #95740. The affected products have "best when used by" dates of Aug. 31, 2023, and Sept. 1, 2023.

The best when used by date is located on the bottom of the container.

The foreign material that was found in the Kool-Aid may have been accidentally introduced to the product during the manufacturing process, according to Nexstar Media Wire. Consumers are being urged not to use the Kool-Aid and to return it to Costco for a full refund.

Questions about the recall can be directed to Kraft Heinz Consumer Relations at 1-855-713-9237 daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST.
