  • Rodriguez's comments could have lifted the lid on Ronaldo's transfer situation
  • MLS club boss David Beckham is open to signing Ronaldo as well as Lionel Messi

Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez may have just dropped a huge hint at where the Juventus striker would want to play.

After being linked to a return to Manchester United in the past transfer window, Ronaldo is once again rumored to be on his way out of Juventus.

While nothing has been concrete yet about Ronaldo’s transfer as his current deal with the Old Lady is set to expire next year, Rodriguez conceded that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is content living in Turin.

Linking Rodriguez’s comments to Ronaldo’s situation, Juventus’ official website concluded that the Portuguese is likely to stay with the reigning Serie A champions.

Georgina Rodriguez gave a long interview, and she mentioned that the family is happily living a simple life in Turin.

“In Turin, We have a house with a garden where the children can play,” Rodriguez told Sportweek (via ilBianconero). “We lack nothing. I love the people of the city very much and I’m happy in here.”

Italian football legend Antonio Cassano recently criticized Ronaldo for apparently making things worse for Juventus.

According to Rodriguez, Ronaldo has become resilient when it comes to criticisms. In fact, the 36-year-old himself is “self-critical.”

“Cristiano [Ronaldo] is very mature,” the Spanish model revealed. “Obviously if a match didn’t go well it’s not a ray of sunshine, but he knows that football is like this, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. You have to accept it and always try to improve."

“He is self-critical, responsible and loves what he does,” she added. “The perfect mix.”

Meanwhile, English Premier League legend David Beckham, who is one of the owners of MLS side Inter Miami CF, recently expressed his desire to sign Ronaldo and if possible, his ultimate rival Lionel Messi as well.

"Without a doubt, those are the type of players that we aspire to bring to our club,” Beckham said of Ronaldo and Messi joining Inter Miami during a fan event. "I think that the fans would really appreciate that. But, you know, as owners, we want players here that are driven, that want to win, and that's our priority.”

"With [current players] Blaise Matuidi and Gonzalo [Higuain], these are players that we feel add to the glitz and the glamour of what the club is,” he continued. "Going forward, we also want to bring other players in if we have the opportunity to bring some great names in, you obviously mentioned Leo [Messi] and Cristiano [Ronaldo].”
