  • Cristiano Ronaldo has been constantly linked to a Juventus exit
  • Ronaldo's girlfriend post on social media may have hinted at the striker's next move
  • "CR7" is more likely to return to Manchester United than Real Madrid, a report said

Cristiano Ronaldo has remained silent amid the transfer rumors swirling around him. However, his longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez may have just spilled the beans.

At the peak of Ronaldo’s rumored Juventus exit, Rodriguez, who has been his girlfriend for five years now, took a private jet to Paris on Tuesday.

On her official Instagram account, Rodriguez posted a photo of herself boarding the private jet with the caption “Bonjour Paris.” As expected, the 27-year-old’s post has convinced some fans that Ronaldo will make a stunning transfer to French champion Paris Saint-Germain.

However, while Ronaldo is said to be considering a move to PSG, it can be recalled that in an earlier interview, Rodriguez insisted they are happily living a simple life in Turin, home of the Portuguese’s current club Juventus.

“In Turin, We have a house with a garden where the children can play,” Rodriguez told Sportweek (via ilBianconero). “We lack nothing. I love the people of the city very much and I’m happy in here.”

At 36 years old, Ronaldo has managed to maintain his exceptional form. This season alone, he has already bagged 32 goals in 39 appearances for Juventus. However, the club is now out of this year’s UEFA Champions League and is likely to lose its Serie A title to domestic rival Inter Milan.

The series of frustrating events at Juventus has triggered rumors linking Ronaldo to a departure and a possible return to either of his former clubs, Real Madrid or Manchester United.

Though many would be thrilled to see “CR7” making a return to Bernabeu, it is becoming more and more apparent that a dream transfer to Real Madrid is unlikely to happen this summer, Spanish outlet Marca reported.

Ronaldo, who played some of the best seasons of his career in La Liga, has offered his services to Los Blancos, per the report. However, the said transfer has been deemed by the club as “impossible from the very beginning” due to some underlying complications, the report said.

Manchester United, on the other hand, was handed a major boost in copping Ronaldo as the report further noted that the said transfer “is a possibility.”

The outlet specified that should Ronaldo consider Manchester United as his preferred destination, both parties could swing a deal through his agent Jorge Mendes. Apparently, the renowned agent has maintained a good relationship with Manchester United higher-ups, and this could be a huge help in completing the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s transfer.
