Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo’s sons both prove that they are future goalscorers like their dads.

Messi and Ronaldo will go down in history as two players who dominated modern soccer, a feat likely no other player can ever repeat. While it is true that it is hard to find a new Ronaldo and Messi, it would be a delight to see their own flesh and blood continue what they have started. Fortunately, both Ronaldo and Messi’s sons are already displaying the same qualities as their dads in the field.

Among Messi’s three boys, Thiago is the one who seems to have inherited the skills of his legendary father. Thiago just turned 12 but is already passionate about soccer. He regularly watches his famous dad play at Camp Nou and has evidently learned from the Barcelona captain’s goalscoring skills.

Just a few weeks ago, a video of Thiago went viral on social media. It shows the young Messi scoring a goal for Barcelona’s youth team in an impressive pace and control before finishing it with his right foot. Apparently, Thiago hasn’t inherited his father’s magnificent left foot. However, the youngster still looked amazing, and the fact that he is a legend’s son makes his young career even more interesting.

Ronaldo, meanwhile, has four children. And just like Messi, Ronaldo also has a son who is following his footsteps. Cristiano Jr. has made plenty of headlines in recent years for his performances at youth level.

The young Ronaldo has been busy bagging goals for Juventus’ Under-9s team. He is also scoring plenty of goals and contagiously impressing in various tournaments.

In fact, Cristiano Jr. once has scored almost twice as many goals for Juventus as his dad has managed since they moved to Italy in 2018.

Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid in July 2018 for a fee of $112 million. And at the time “CR7” has scored 34 times in all competitions for the Italian champion, his nine-year-old son who also joined the club's academy has far eclipsed his record. Critiano Jr scored an astonishing 58 goals in just 28 games. Adding to that impressive tally, he's also provided 18 assists for his "Pulcini Under-9" teammates.

Last December, the young Ronaldo further his feat by leading the team in copping the Juventus U9's "Cavour Trophy" title . And after scoring three goals throughout the tournament, Cristiano Jr was named the best striker of the competition.
