Damian Lillard’s net worth is $70 million and he is also one of the highest paid players in the NBA today.

Lillard has been given the keys to the franchise after the Portland Trail Blazers traded All-Star power forward LaMarcus Aldridge. He never missed the postseason in his 8-year career, which convinced Portland to sign him to supermax deals.

Born Damian Lamonte Ollie Lillard, the player received $3,065,040 in his first year in the NBA. When he became eligible for an extension, he received $24,328,425 in 2015 which increased in the next two seasons, $26,153,057 and $27,977,689, respectively, due to his inclusion in NBA All-Teams, per Spotrac.

The Oakland, California native played under the radar and did not receive much offers out of high school. He played for Weber State University where he showcased his early potential. Drafted 6th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft, he continued proving the critics wrong with his fine play. According to Celebrity Net Worth, he won the NBA Rookie of the Year award, beating the likes of Anthony Davis, Bradley Beal and Dion Waiters who were all selected ahead of him.

Lillard has earned the reputation as one of the most clutch players in the league today. He is one of the few players who is on the same level with Stephen Curry when it comes to long range shooting. Fans of the Trail Blazers coined the nickname “Dame Time” because of his game-winning shots during the playoffs against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, New Orleans Hornets and Phoenix Suns, among others.

A long time Adidas endorser, Lillard also has lucrative deals with Hulu and Panini. Forbes reports that he is signed until the 2025 season with an average salary of a whopping $40 million per year. With $37 million earnings in 2020, he is ranked 30th on the list of highest paid athletes this year.

Aside from playing basketball, Lillard busies himself making rap albums. Unknown to many, one of his goals is to win a Grammy, as per Rolling Stones. With a third album already in his belt and good reviews from music critics and fans, it will not be surprising if the shooting guard can achieve that dream sooner than later. Dame D.O.L.L.A., his hip-hop pseudonym, reached the 7th spot on the U.S. charts with his first album “The Letter O.” He followed it up with his second album entitled “Confirmed” in 2017 and then released “Big D.O.L.L.A.” in 2019.

On the personal side, he used to drive a $100,000 Porsche Cabriolet and owns a Bentley Bentayga SUV. He lives in a mansion in Portland that was featured in the music video of his song called “Goat Spirit.”
