Kim Zolciak, who was recently announced as one of the Season 21 competitors on “Dancing With the Stars,” opened up about who she thinks her competitors are, and how she got in shape following the birth of her twins Kaia and Kane Bierman.

The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star said during an interview with “Access Hollywood” that she dropped a lot of her baby weight because her twins, who turn two in November, keep her very active. Zolciak is also mom to Brielle, 18, Ariana, 13, Kroy, 4, and Kash, 3. “I do protein shakes now,” Zolciak added. “And I do the waist trainer when I can.”

Zolciak also dished on her first rehearsal with her “Dancing With the Stars” partner Tony Dovalani, admitting that she’s been extremely sore from practicing so much. “She’s a hard worker… She has the right work ethic; she has the right attitude for ‘Dancing With the Stars,’” Dovalani said. “She’s going to have an incredible journey during this because she’s actually learning everything from scratch, and I’m excited about that.”

When asked if Zolciak had reached out to her “Real Housewife” co-star NeNe Leakes about what it’s like to compete on the ABC show, the “Don’t Be Tardy” star said she would rather not get advice from her friend. “I just want to go out there on my own. I don’t want them to put anything in my mind,” Zolciak said. “I just want to just go out there and do it.” As far as who she thinks her toughest competition may be, Zolciak admitted she thinks all the couple’s “are great,” but she’s “in it to win it.”

As previously reported, other “Dancing With the Stars” cast members include Bindi Irwin, Chaka Khan, Paula Deen, Nick Carter, Gary Busey, Tamar Braxton, Hayes Grier, Victor Espinoza, Andy Grammer, Carlos Pena Jr., Alexa PenaVega and Alex Skarlatos.

And to prove just how serious she is about taking home the Mirror Ball, Zolciak posted a video on Instagram of kissing a replica of the trophy and then doing the Whip/Nae Nae dance to Silento’s “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).” She wrote in the caption, “I’m so excited!!! DWTS! This video is totally ME… I LOVE HAVING FUN and I’m always up for a challenge!! We will be on this journey together.”
