It’s the second week of competition in Season 24 of “Dancing With the Stars,” so the pressure to be great is on. The all-star cast of 13 teams debuted their first routine on March 20, setting the bar higher than ever before.

Fans of the ABC dancing competition are waiting anxiously to see what moves they’ll bust in Week 2 — especially now that the first elimination is looming. Last week saw no perfect scores, but several teams were close. Have the dancing duos put in enough work to garner four 10s from the “DWTS” judging panel?

Check out what they spent the weekend working on:

Team Golden Giggles

Sasha Farber and Simone Biles put in serious work this weekend. The pair allowed fans behind the scenes via Instagram photos from their practice space, and we can’t wait to see what they’ve got planned for Week 2. Sasha shared a snap of Simone doing a high-flying jump — in heels, no less! — while he sat on the floor, joking that it was “just another day at the office.”

He later shared photo of he and Simone doing their thing in the “DWTS” ballroom. The photo shows fake flames and some majorly fancy footwork. In his caption Sasha teased Team Golden Giggles’ Week 2 dance, writing that he was “so excited” for fans to see this routine. The pro dancer also shared a sweet message for his precious partner.

Simone shared a few photos of her own from her weekend practices with Sasha. In one, the pair can be seen posing before the “DWTS” logo on a wall in their practice space. Simone shared a quote about dancing being akin to “dreaming with your feet,” adding that hers were getting tired.

The Olympic gymnast later shared a photo of her and Sasha striking an intimate pose. She apologized to her “DWTS” pro partner for always laughing “in serious situations,” but somehow we don’t think he minds.

Team Cuchi Cuchi

Keo Motsepe and Charo are cooking up something big ahead of “DWTS” Week 2. Keo shared a fun behind the scenes video of he and his amateur partner busting not-so-amateur moves in the studio. It may not be a clue as to what they’re doing on Monday’s episode of “DWTS,” but these two can move!

Charo shared several photos and videos from her weekend practices with Keo. She shared stills of them dancing together, telling fans she always has “a blast” working with the pro dancer. The legendary flamenco guitarist posted a still from their camera blocking session that makes us think they’re bringing the heat on Monday. We’ll have to tune in to find out for sure.

Team Blades Of Glory

Artem Chigvintsev and Nancy Kerrigan spent the weekend perfecting their cha cha routine for Monday’s “DWTS” episode. We’re not sure how practice went, but the professional ice skater was paying for it on Sunday. She shared an Instagram photo of herself icing her “aching feet” after a long weekend of practice with Artem.

Neither shared photos or video from the studio, but Nancy did share a few clues about what she’ll be wearing when she and Artem hit the ballroom for the second time. According to photos on her Instagram, the “DWTS” costume department whipped up a hot pink sequined get up for her.

Team Valmani

Talk about dedication! Val Chmerkovskiy jetted all the way to Okinawa, Japan, to see Normani Kordei and Fifth Harmony perform. The pair worked in a few practices as well as a little celebration in honor of Val’s 31st birthday. Normani and friends surprised him with a song and dance at the airport.

Val and Normani are keeping fans in suspense until Monday as to what they’re working on for “DWTS” Week 2. Lucky for them, they should be safe after an impressive performance in the Season 24 premiere. Whatever they’ve got planned, we can’t wait to see!

Team Pretty Xxpensive

There’s no slowing these two down! Gleb Savchenko and Erika Jayne spent the weekend working hard on their Week 2 routine, snapping photos when possible for fans. Gleb and Erika shared several shots of them working on dips and other exciting things for their upcoming routine.

We’re not sure exactly what they’re bringing to the ballroom in Week 2, but it looks amazing. One photo from their camera blocking session suggests their routine will be sexy, but with these two, that’s pretty much expected.

Team Dancing Fools

Kym Herjavec and Mr. T are focused and ready to fight for their spot in Season 24 of “DWTS” in Week 2. Kym shared a video of some strength exercises she and “The A-Team” star were working on. The pro dancer left her partner with a minor injury from her massive wedding ring — here’s hoping it doesn’t affect his dancing too much.

She also shared a photo from their in-studio practice. Kym revealed that she and Mr. T are working on a Paso Doble routine for Monday. Hopefully they can score high enough to stay in the game another week.

Team Denim And Diamonds

Sharna Burgess and Bonner Bolton are bound and determined not to allow rumors about their relationship status to affect them in the ballroom. While rumors swirled outside, Team Denim and Diamonds spent their weekend working on a Viennese Waltz in the studio. Sharna shared with Instagram followers that it had been a stressful week, but she and Bonner were “on track to kill it.”

Team Shad Squad

Val Chmerkovskiy wasn’t the only “DWTS” cast member celebrating his birthday this weekend. Emma Slater surprised Rashad Jennings during a costume fitting, giving fans a little gift on his birthday. She then shared a photo of her and Rashad celebrating with a small cake, sharing a sweet message for her partner whom she said she feels she’s “known for years!”

Rashad thanked Emma and the “DWTS” crew for thinking of him on his big day. He added that they were even considerate of his diet restrictions, getting a gluten and dairy free cake. How sweet!

On the dancing front, Emma and Rashad spent the weekend working on a Viennese Waltz. They didn’t share any videos from their practice, but this photo posted by Emma says all we need to know. This is going to be a good one.

Team Mango Tango

With elimination looming, Witney Carson and Chris Kattan had to put in some serious work over the weekend. The “Saturday Night Live” alumnus shared a video of his partner in the zone, trying to work out the kinks in their routine. He shared a later video that suggests Witney may be tapping into comedy for their dance this week.

Team Lady And The Gramp

Lindsay Arnold and David Ross were hard at work on their “DWTS” Week 2 routine. The former MLB superstar shared a photo that suggests they’re working on a fun throwback routine. The duo donned 80s-style neon workout gear to help them get in the right headspace.

Team Baby Got Bach

Peta Murgatroyd and Nick Viall appear to have spent the weekend apart. The former “Bachelor” star headed home to Wisconsin with fiancée Vanessa Grimaldi, who shared video on her Instagram story of him working on his moves in a tiny kitchen. He snapped a photo letting fans know he was headed back to Los Angeles to get to work on his routine for Monday’s show on Sunday afternoon.

Team Maksimum Heat is the only “DWTS” Season 24 duo that shared zero updates over the weekend. We assume Maks Chmerkovskiy and Heather Morris were hard at work, but only time will tell. We’re crossing our fingers for them.

Heading into Week 2, several teams are in danger. William Shatner has made it his personal mission to get Team Baby Got Bach booted from the competition. Meanwhile Team Mango Tango and Team Dancing Fools both scored very low in Week 1, leaving them on the chopping block.

Tune in to “Dancing With the Stars” Monday at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC to find out who will get cut.
