Soon-to-be-wed David Foster and Katharine McPhee spent the weekend apart ahead of their wedding. Interetingly, the couple expressed their longing for each other via social media.

On Sunday, McPhee, 34, uploaded to Instagram Story a snap of the diamond engagement ring she received from Foster, 69, last July during a romantic proposal in Italy. She captioned her post, “Far away from each other but still can’t wait to marry you @davidfoster.”

The record producer quickly reposted his fiancée’s selfie on his own feed and captioned it, “I won the lottery.”

From the looks of things, McPhee, who is currently busy performing in the musical “Waitress” in the West End, is missing her husband-to-be. And Foster feels the same way.

Though the couple has yet to announce their wedding date, their nuptials could be imminent since Page Six has learned from a source that the “Terrified” songstress wants it done “sooner than later.”

“She really wants to get married and doesn’t want to wait,” the source said, adding that McPhee and Foster are planning to tie the knot in London.

Another tipster disclosed to Us Weekly that the pair are actually opting for a small wedding. The tipster claimed that Foster is just waiting for McPhee’s musical to wrap up before they officially walk down the aisle.

Meanwhile, another insider said that the Canadian musician and the American actress-singer are already done planning a very small wedding for about 30 people. The insider noted that they just want to make their ceremony “very private.”

Last month, McPhee revealed on Instagram that she was already in the process of finding the perfect dress for her wedding. In her post, she revealed that she was accompanied by Foster’s stylist daughter, Jordan, to her wedding dress fittings.

This would not be the first marriage for both Foster and McPhee. The world-renowned composer was previously married to four women, namely: B.J. Cook (1972-1981), Rebecca Dyer (1982-1986), Linda Thompson (1991-2005) and Yolanda Foster (2011-2017).

As for McPhee, she was married to actor Nick Cokas from 2008 to 2016. They filed for divorce in 2014 after the actress was spotted kissing Michael Morris, the director of her show “Smash.”
