The Powerball jackpot has jumped to an estimated $472 million, with a cash option of $342 million, after there were was no grand-prize winner for Saturday's drawing. The new jackpot is nearly a third of the way from the largest Powerball jackpot, which was $1.6 billion in 2016.

Saturday’s jackpot was an estimated $457 million, with a cash option of $331.6 million.

The winning numbers were: 5, 36, 39, 45, and 57. The Powerball drawn was 11 with a Power Play of 2X.

The next drawing is on Monday night. In August, Powerball expanded to three days a week.

While there wasn't a grand prize winner on Saturday, there was a $1 million Powerball lottery ticket winner in New Jersey. The ticket matched five numbers but not the Powerball.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million and a ticket costs $2. Powerball is offered in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
