"Dancing With the Stars"
Did a "hated" Vanessa Lachey really stage her wardrobe malfunction during a recent "Dancing With the Stars" performance with Maksim Chmerkovskiy? ABC

Though rumors that she and her "Dancing With the Stars" partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy had fought earlier in Season 25 were deemed to be true, it appears other reports concerning Vanessa Lachey and alleged drama behind-the-scenes on the ABC show are false.

Lachey has been at the center of several reports since joining the cast of "DWTS" in September alongside recently eliminated husband Nick Lachey. Not only did early reports incorrectly claim that her presence on the show was creating friction with host Erin Andrews, but since news broke of the conflict she and Maks had which led to his not dancing with her during Week 3, several other reports have surfaced regarding her popularity amongst the rest of the cast. However, Gossip Cop has put that rumor, as well as others about her, to rest.

The website has knocked down two different reports about Lachey in recent days. The first tackled a story in the National Enquirer, which claimed that the entire cast of professional dancers on the show "hated" her and were "taking Maks' side" when it came to their conflict.

"Vanessa has been cut off from the rest of the cast. She is getting the cold shoulder, and everyone is staying away from her," a source allegedly told the tabloid. "Long after Vanessa leaves the show, Maks will still be around for many more seasons. The dancers know they have to stick together."

However, that report was untrue, as Maks and Vanessa appear to have settled their issues since Week 3, and have danced together an additional three times on the show.

Meanwhile, a second report, which claimed that a wardrobe malfunction Vanessa had during her performance with Maks during their "A Night At The Movies" routine was staged, has also been slammed by Gossip Cop.

Radar Online reported that when a longer piece of Vanessa's skirt flew off at the beginning of her musical themed quickstep, that it was a moment she had secretly staged in the effort to potentially get both more points from the judges and votes from viewers.

"Vanessa's dance last night was flawless, but her skirt ripping off was totally staged!" an alleged source told the publication. "She is so thirsty to win now that she is willing to do anything to stay on air. She isn't stupid. Before Vanessa was a celebrity in her own right, she was an entertainment news reporter, so she definitely knows how to make headlines. Vanessa is loving the attention she is getting right now."

However, that report was also slammed for various reasons, including the fact that mistakes made during the dance were pointed out by the judges, resulting in a score of 36 out of 40 points. In addition, Gossip Cop reached out to one of Vanessa's reps, who also claimed the reports were "absolutely false."
