Former United States President Donald Trump married his first wife, Ivana Trump, in 1977. They divorced in 1992, after 15 years of marriage and three children, due to the latter's infidelity.

According to reports, the two broke up after Donald cheated on Ivana with actress Marla Maples. Donald married Maples in 1993, but they separated in 1997 after four years of marriage.

Donald and Maples, who settled their divorce in 1999, share a daughter, Tiffany. Here, we take a look at how much Donald paid Maples in child support.

As per reports, Maples, who has a net worth of $6 million to date, reportedly asked for a $25 million divorce payout, but she only walked away with around $2 million.

Half of the $2 million settlement was used to buy a home, according to the South China Morning Post.

She also got $100,000 in child support payments for Tiffany until she was 21.

In comparison, Ivana walked away with a total of around $25 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. This is worth $100 million in today's dollar.

Ivana also received $650,000 in child support for Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric until they reached 18.

Aside from the child support payments, she was given a 45-room mansion in Connecticut, a flat in Trump Plaza, and she was allowed to use the Mar-a-Lago, Florida, estate for one month a year.

Because of the massive payments, Donald was reportedly in deep debt at the time of the divorce with Ivana and got forced to pay for the settlement with bank loans.

In 2016, Maples told People how she felt about Ivana, who said she didn't forgive her for having an affair with Donald.

"It makes me sad because I wish her nothing but love, and I've never had any intention of hurting her. I love her kids I'm still close to them. I love and adore them," Maples said.

"So, it was sad to hear that. I wish her absolutely the best," she added. "I really do, and I hope that if she's holding any kind of resentment toward me, I really hope, for her sake, that she can forgive me and just love her life."

Ivana died last Thursday at age 73.
