Dwayne Johnson has donated loads of water bottles to healthcare professionals working on the front lines amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The world has been battling the coronavirus pandemic for months. Although things have gotten better and everyone is gearing for the new normal, Johnson is aware that the frontliners are still working hard, so he is giving them over 700,000 water bottles.

“My @vossworld partners & myself donated 700,000+ bottles to our heroes...” Johnson wrote on Instagram over the weekend.

“Our frontline healthcare workers at our hospitals across the country. It was our very small way of saying, THANK YOU,” he continued.

The Rock recognized the healthcare workers’ efforts in taking care of those who are in need, including the people who are at home to stop the spread of the virus. He promised to do his part to make the job easier for the frontliners.

“We, on our end will continue to be disciplined - wearing masks, being smart, social distancing etc. We must do our job. As you all continue to do yours. Keep holding the line and stay strong. You inspire us all,” he added.

In related news, Johnson’s fans have urged him to run for president after he called out President Donald Trump in a social media post following George Flody’s death.

“Where are you?” Johnson asked several times in a video he shared on Instagram. The Rock was wondering where the leader was when the country was down on its knees begging to be heard.

He also reminded the government officials that the people need comfort and assurance amid the chaos in the country. However, they felt alone and lost.

Several agreed with Johnson’s post and they encouraged him to join the presidential race.

“THE ROCK FOR PRESIDENT!!” one commented.

“Indeed. The Rock for President,” another opined.

“Kids, let me tell you about how The Rock became President Dwayne Johnson,” a different user wrote.

In a previous interview with IndieWire, the “Fast and Furious” star admitted that he is not closing his door on politics. However, he made it clear that he has no plans to join the 2020 presidential race.

“I’m not ruling out the idea if I could make a bigger impact somehow, or potentially surround myself with good people,” Johnson said.
