Dwayne Johnson wished his "Rampage" co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan on his birthday Thursday and also shared an "inside joke."

The 48-year-old retired professional wrestler took to Instagram on Thursday to share a black and white picture of himself and the 55-year-old actor from the 2018 action-adventure movie.

"Happy Birthday to my favorite a---ole @jeffreydeanmorgan — because it takes one to know one and we gotta stick together (inside joke)," he captioned. "Happy birthday, my brother and always sending love and mana to you and your family's way. #gunslinginggoodtimes."

Morgan is popularly known for his portrayal of Negan in the horror drama series "The Walking Dead." The actor was recently featured in "The Unholy," which released on April 2. He will be seen next in "The Integrity of Joseph Chambers," which is currently under post-production.

Besides movies, he also appears on AMC network's "Friday Night in with the Morgans," which also features his wife, Hilarie Burton.

Johnson is busy filming his first superhero movie, "Black Adam," which is slated to release on July 29, 2022.

The actor has been actively sharing updates regarding the movie on social media. Last week, he shared a picture of himself in the gym and captioned it, "Great training session before sunrise and a helluva week shooting #BlackAdam."

"Thank you guys for all your support and excitement for this film - we're motivated to deliver for you," he added. "Finish your week strong. #darknessonmyback #maninblack #blackadam."

He also wrote the lyrics for legendary singer Johnny Cash's music track "Man in Black."

Johnson will also be seen in the most-awaited, "Jungle Cruise," starring Emily Blunt, Édgar Ramírez and Jack Whitehall. The fantasy adventure movie will be released on July 30. It was originally slated for a 2019 release but was postponed to July 24, 2020. The release was again delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Johnson will also feature in the popular action-crime franchise "Fast and Furious 10," which is slated to release on April 2, 2022.
