The Green Bay Packers have a perfect record through the first three games of the 2019 NFL season. That could come to an end on “Thursday Night Football” when they host the Philadelphia Eagles.

The odds suggest that Green Bay will have an undefeated September. The Packers are 4.5-point home favorites in the first game of the Week 4 schedule, according to the latest betting line at OddsShark.

The over/under is 46.

Philadelphia hasn’t gotten off to such a fast start. The Eagles are 1-2, suffering two straight losses in which they were unable to take the lead on their final drive of the game.

Injuries on both sides of the ball have hurt Philadelphia this season. The team has been especially unlucky on offense, losing their top two wide receivers for most of Week 2 and all of Week 3. The Eagles had seven dropped passes in Sunday’s 27-23 loss to the Detroit Lions at home.

It sounds like the Eagles will get their No.1 wide receiver from each of the past two seasons back for Week 4. Alshon Jeffery is expected to return after recording five receptions and a touchdown in the opener. He’ll provide a big boost to a team that already ranks in the top-10 in scoring.

Only one NFC team has scored fewer points than the Packers this season. Aaron Rodgers hasn’t thrown for more than 235 yards in a game. Green Bay ranks 26th in the NFL, averaging 3.4 yards per carry.

Thursday might finally be the game in which the Packers’ offensive struggles cost them a victory.

Green Bay’s defense has been so good that Rodgers hasn’t had to perform like the all-time great that he is. The Packers have held all three of their opponents to 16 points or fewer. Linebacker Preston Smith was just named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week with three sacks. Green Bay ranks first in the NFC with 12 sacks and an opponents’ passer rating of 63.0.

All of those numbers came against Mitchell Trubisky, Joe Flacco and Kirk Cousins. It could be a different story when the Packers take on Carson Wentz, who has been very good outside of one poor half this season.

Thursday night underdogs are 3-0 against the spread and straight up in 2019. The trend could continue in Week 4.

Prediction: Philadelphia over Green Bay, 26-23
