Energizer unveiled an 18,000mAh battery phone named Energizer Power Max P18K Pop smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 tech extravaganza. The company is advertising it as the smartphone with “the most powerful battery on the market.” What about its other features and pricing? Here is all the information on the newly unveiled Power Max P18K Pop.

According to Energizer, the massive battery of the phone can deliver a standby time of 50 days and 90 hours of talk time. By charging it only once, it can let users to watch videos on the phone for 2 days and listen to music for 100 hours, Trusted Reviews reported. The massive battery supports 18W fast charging with USB Power Delivery 2.0. The phone can be used as a power bank to charge other devices.

It goes without saying that a smartphone with a 18,000mAh battery won’t be sporting a slim profile. The thickness of the device 18mm (0.7 inches). The company is yet to reveal the actual weight of the device. Needless to say, that it is a hefty device.

The battery is not on the only impressive feature on the Energizer Power Max P18K Pop. It comes with a 6.2-inch notch-less LCD display that delivers full HD+ resolution. The reason why the company has included “Pop” in its moniker is that it comes with a pop-up selfie camera setup that includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The back panel of the phone has a triple camera unit that includes a 12-megapixel sensor, a 5-megpaixel lens and a 2-megapixel sensor.

The MediaTek Helio P70 chipset powers the smartphone along with 6 GB of RAM. It comes with 128 GB internal storage and a microSD card slot. According to GSM Arena, the right edge of the phone is fitted with a volume rocker, a power key and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.

Energizer is yet to confirm the price and availability of the Energizer Power Max P18K Pop smartphone. The handset is packed with impressive specs. Probably, it may carry an attractive price tag. However, customers who prefer slim-sized and lightweight phones will shoo away from the Power Max P18K Pop.
