It was a busy Father’s Day in episode 2 of “The Fosters” Season 3, but the biggest news of the episode was definitely the reveal that a new foster kid was joining the family. It looks like A.J. (Todd Williamson) will become a series regular on the ABC Family drama as Mike (Danny Nucci) decided to adopt the troubled teen at the end of the hour. Callie (Maia Mithcell) was shocked to hear the news, considering A.J. was responsible for getting her fired from the foster center. How will she handle it all in episode 3, “Déjà Vu?”

According to the synopsis for the new episode, Callie will not be taking Mike’s big decision well. She had wanted to help A.J., bringing Stef (Teri Polo) to the juvenile detention center to see him, but this is a little, well, close to home. Can she and her family trust him after what he did to her? Will Callie tell Mike and her mom that he got her fired?

Meanwhile, the synopsis also reveals that Stef has something to tell Lena (Sherri Saum) in episode 3 concerning Monte (Annika Marks). Will Lena tell her partner about the kiss? The promo shows Stef asking Lena if she knows Monte is gay.

Finally, the promo reveals that Jude (Hayden Byerly) is still getting over the shooting incident with Connor (Gavin MacIntosh) and might not be coping in the healthiest way. In the promo, Jude tells Connor he wants to go to a gun range. That seems like a recipe for trouble!
